Dudley College Internship is excited to announce its 2024 Internship Recruitment Program for Apprenticeships. This program is designed to provide hands-on work experience and professional development opportunities for students and recent graduates. As one of the UK’s leading further education colleges, Dudley College offers a range of apprenticeship opportunities across multiple departments, including Business Administration, Engineering, Digital Marketing, Information Technology, Health and Social Care, and more. Apprentices will gain valuable skills, industry knowledge, and qualifications while working alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily operations within your assigned department, contributing to various projects and administrative tasks.
- Work closely with mentors and team members to support ongoing activities, such as data entry, report preparation, and project coordination.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop both technical and soft skills relevant to your apprenticeship.
- Conduct research, gather information, and analyze data to support department goals and objectives.
- Help in organizing events, meetings, and other activities that enhance team collaboration and productivity.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting students, staff, and visitors with inquiries and requests.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the department and college.

Requirements:
- Must be 16 years or older at the start of the apprenticeship program.
- A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
- Strong desire to learn and develop in a professional setting.
- Authorization to work in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship.
- Availability to commit to a full-time or part-time schedule, depending on the apprenticeship requirements.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience:
- No prior work experience is required; however, any previous part-time work, volunteering, or extracurricular activities that demonstrate relevant skills are advantageous.
- Experience in a customer service role or administrative environment is a plus.
