Job Roles:
As an intern in the Dudley Council Apprenticeship Program, you will have the opportunity to work in one or more of the following areas:
- Administration and Office Support: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, data entry, filing, and document management.
- Customer Service: Interact with residents and visitors, provide information, and assist with queries.
- Community Development: Support community engagement projects, events, and initiatives.
- Human Resources: Assist in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and other HR functions.
- IT and Digital Services: Work on IT support, digital marketing, and website management.
- Finance and Accounting: Support budgeting, financial reporting, and accounts management.
- Environmental Services: Contribute to sustainability and environmental initiatives.
Education Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed their GCSEs (or equivalent) with a minimum of Grade C/4 in English and Mathematics.
- A-Level or equivalent qualifications are desirable but not mandatory.
- A willingness to pursue further qualifications in a relevant field through the apprenticeship program.
Experience Requirements:
- No prior experience is required; this program is designed for individuals seeking their first step into a professional environment.
- Voluntary or part-time experience in a related field is advantageous.
