Responsibilities:

  1. Support the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in delivering humanitarian aid and protection to people affected by armed conflict and other situations of violence.
  2. Assist in conducting research, data analysis, and information gathering to support programmatic activities and decision-making processes.
  3. Contribute to project management tasks, including planning, monitoring, and evaluation of humanitarian projects.
  4. Assist in the preparation and dissemination of communication materials, including reports, briefings, and multimedia content.
  5. Support field operations by liaising with local communities, authorities, and partner organizations.
  6. Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to humanitarian action and international law.
  7. Perform administrative tasks as needed, including organizing documents, scheduling meetings, and maintaining databases.

Requirements:

  1. Currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution, pursuing a degree in international relations, humanitarian studies, law, social sciences, or a related field.
  2. Strong academic record and demonstrated interest in humanitarian action, human rights, and international law.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and/or other relevant languages (depending on the location).
  4. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex information and draw actionable insights.
  5. Cultural sensitivity and empathy towards people affected by conflict and violence.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural and challenging environment.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with data analysis tools and software.
  8. Eligibility to work in the country where the internship is located.
